A Certified Accountant with over four decades of leadership at African Cotton Industries, Salim has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s growth, diversification and operational excellence. Since joining in 1981, he has steered the company into new product categories — including the tissue and sanitary towels business — while expanding manufacturing capabilities and establishing operations in Nairobi. His deep experience spans sales, marketing, distribution, production and brand development, where he has directly led the creation and growth of major brands. 

Khalil holds a Master of Engineering Science (MEng) from the University of Oxford and brings experience from Pearson Group, Procter & Gamble and Oliver Wyman Financial Services. Since joining African Cotton in 2010 and assuming leadership in 2016, he has spearheaded strategic initiatives including the relocation to Nairobi, government partnerships, the sanitary towels social impact program, ERP systems upgrades, and the launch of the Snuggles baby care range. Khalil leads the organisation’s transformation agenda and long-term strategic direction.

Nadeem studied Politics, Philosophy & Economics at the University of Oxford, holds a master’s degree from Stanford University, and trained in law at BPP Law School, London. Admitted to the High Court of Kenya, he is a qualified lawyer and CEO of Auric Capital. Since joining African Cotton in 2018, Nadeem has led high-impact growth projects, driving regional expansion and the development of new product categories 

A Certified Accountant with 24 years of professional experience, Mohamed joined African Cotton in 1996. He previously ran both Operations and Finance independently before being appointed Director in 2012. Mohamed oversees the integration of financial discipline, operational performance and efficiency across the business. 

A Certified Accountant, Mureithi brings experience from Industrial Plant Ltd, Kikuyu Hospital and Kenya Funds Management Co. Ltd. Since joining African Cotton in 2002 as the first Nairobi employee, he has played a pivotal role in developing the branch into the company’s Headquarters. He manages corporate affairs and chairs the Kenya Association of Manufacturers’ Lower Eastern Counties chapter.
